System improvements

• Scrubjay will now warn you when you import videos that are fragmented MP4s, and will generate the metadata necessary for such videos to work smoothly in the application.
  • This improves the user experience with videos downloaded from YouTube or Twitch, many of which are fragmented MP4s. Such videos lack the metadata necessary to scrub efficiently within a video, and were causing the application to hang on video import.
• Scrubjay now starts much faster, especially for users with large libraries or those who use the larger more powerful machine learning models.
  • A side-effect of this is sign-in completes much faster.

New account and subscription improvements

• We have bumped the free trial duration to 7 days. Users currently on a free trial will have their free trials extended to a total of 7 days.
• Scrubjay now will send emails to new users, and warn trialing users when their free trial is about to expire.
